the "douchebag" seems to be the new point of attack. in recent years, the focus seems to have shifted from the goth and emo kids, resulting in an onslaught of internet media focusing on said "douchebag" demographic.
however, in defense of my state, i would like to say that a majority of the native new jerseyans i know are not of the same mold. but then, they seem to all be young white males, and i tend not to know many of those in my immediate circle of friends.
