who DOESN'T like the bangles?!?!
summer, 1987- honolulu hawaii, m and her mother attend the bangles concert (m's first concert ever), m fully decked in an acid washed denim jacket with george michael and bangles buttons all over it. they closed with "walk like an egyptian", but changed the words to "walk like a hawaiian". it was official 11 year old heaven.
